Daniel Salemi (b. 1985, Providence, RI United States) is a photographer based in New York and Helsinki. His work investigates architecture as perpetual assimilation of material and form. He depicts them by navigating through negative space where these structures present themselves completely malleable. The photographs reveal private, intimate moments of buildings - vulnerable despite their monumental presence. Daniel attempts to document the absence of culturally distinctive characteristics in architecture and the lives these spaces lead independently of the humans that brought them into existence.
