Daniel Salemi (b. 1985, Providence, RI, United States) is a photographer based in New York and Helsinki whose work investigates architecture as a perpetual assimilation of material and form. He manipulates these structures by navigating through negative space where they present themselves completely malleable. His photographs expose private, intimate moments that reveal their vulnerability despite their monumental presence. Daniel documents the culturally distinctive characteristics of architecture and the lives these spaces lead independently of the humans who brought them into existence.
